  • Evaluating and determining optimal loading and application rates for spray irrigation wastewater recharge/disposal system and conducting hydrogeological studies as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP).

Because of Mr. Oram background in Environmental Pollution Control and research on removal mechanisms for the parasitic protozoan Giardia, B.F. Environmental Consultants has been involved with the evaluation of surface and groundwater supplies for the purpose of determining if Giardia is present or if the groundwater source was directly under the influence of a surfacewater body. The company has also provided expert testimony in the fields of environmental science, hydrology, on-lot wastewater disposal, and geology.

Review of New York Model Ordinance for On-lot Wastewater Disposal- Technical review of a proposed model ordinance for New York State. Services included a technical review of testing protocols, system selection, system design, and construction.

TJMAX Project Site - Groundwater monitoring associated with site developement and blasting operation.

Monroe Bottling Company - Spring water development project. Preliminary hydrological assessment to estimate yield, source water, and withdrawl strategies in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.

Fox Ledge Bottling Company - Spring water development, sanitary assessment, aquifer analysis, and spring classification.

SYKE Inc- 100,000 gpd spring water development using interception wells in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

Pocono Brewing Company - Conducted a Preliminary and Detailed Hydrological Investigation to Determine Direction of Groundwater Flow and Development of Long-Term Monitoring Plan. Also, the company is providing technical assistance with the monitoring of a new Wastewater Denitrification System used by the facility.

Diesel Fuel Contamination - On-site testing, site characterization, monitoring well design and installation, mapping groundwater flow and contaminant pathways, and developing groundwater and soil monitoring plan.

Alternative On-lot and Land-Based Wastewater Disposal
