Homeland Security Program

Our training courses include introductory level as well as advanced offerings designed to address specific situations, technologies and methodologies including the Incident Command System. Geographic Information Systems for Crime Management / Emergency Response

Geographic Information Systems, or GIS, refer to the capture, archiving, analysis, and management of information that is linked to physical locations and is broadly applied to archaeology, resource management, scientific investigations and a wide variety public service fields including criminal justice, emergency response and homeland security.

Terrorism Training Courses

The terrorism training program includes over 10 courses that prepare students to develop emergency plans, identify vulnerability to widespread devastation and participate in recovery. Additionally, curriculum covers various threatening bioterrorism agents and diseases like anthrax, tularemia and botulism. Innovative technology is built-in to many courses including a virtual tour of a laboratory and animated demonstrations of potential attacks and disease outbreaks.

Fire Fighter Training Program and Emergency Management Training for First Responders

The firefighter training program consists of over 30 training courses. Fires that occur in different locations, under different circumstances require different firefighting and emergency management skills.
